Smooth Feather had the huge honor of taking the national stage in Washington, D.C. last week as part of the keynote presentation at the Coalition for Juvenile Justice conference! We screened our film "AS WE ARE" and spoke about our work to empower communities through the arts and wellness. It was an incredible honor to speak alongside Clinton Lacey, Jill Ward, Callie Hargett and Melissa Dau about their inspiring work in the field of juvenile justice. We at Smooth Feather are incredibly grateful for the support from the Maine Juvenile Justice Advisory group which is allowing us to continue doing our work on the ground with youth. I'm really looking forward to staying in touch with the amazing people I met in D.C. and excited to see where it takes Smooth Feather in the future! -Silas
