Our youth screen "AS WE ARE" at Dirigo High School and lead discussions as part of substance use awareness day.

We had an awesome day last Friday with some of our Smooth Feather Youth up at Dirigo High School where we screened our film "AS WE ARE" as part of a substance use awareness day they hosted. I'm so proud of how Tyler Muise, Eli Murray and Evan Drozdowski represented the film and lead a few circles with their students!

"HALLOWED GROUND" Our First Creepy Film!

Here’s the online premiere of “HALLOWED GROUND”. This past Friday we all gathered with our youth at the theater with no idea of what we were going to make, and in three days this film was born. Last night’s red carpet premiere at the theater was incredible, and after the event we all knew that today was the day to release “HALLOWED GROUND” for all of you to see!

Excursions Trip to Salem!

We are so happy to announce that our Excursion Group is back up and running!! We took a special trip with three members, to reconnect and to invite them to become co-leaders and mentors for our new incoming group! They will be taking on a whole new role as they will help plan and lead our excursions. We are so proud of them.

This excursion brought us to Salem, Massachusetts! We began the day on the coast at the Salem Willows. Here we walked along the harbor, explored the beaches, and visited the arcade. There were some pretty funny vintage games that we really enjoyed, and one of the girls hit the jackpot, winning 1000 tickets!

We went on to visit the historical part of the city and saw 17th and 18th century buildings and monuments, and checked out the Witch Dungeon Museum to learn about the Salem Witch Trials. On the other end of the city, we explored the incredible murals painted by a collection of artists brought together by the Urban Art Museum. What an inspiration!

It was so wonderful to have our group together again, and we are thrilled to now have these amazing young women be a part of our leadership team. Thank you to our patrons for allowing us to continue providing meaningful opportunities for our youth.
