Smooth Feather is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in southern Maine with a mission to empower youth & community through filmmaking. Based in a historic 1880s theater in Kezar Falls, Maine, we bring youth together throughout the year to make a wide variety of films that reflect both their struggles and their dreams as teenagers living in rural Maine. We provide a safe place for young people to be vulnerable, to share about the difficulties in their lives, and to find a common connection with others while making films.
