Good Friend Casey Fenton has created a website called couchsufing.com. It's a non-profit site dedicated to creating an international community of interesting travellers. Our good friend Dave Watson, who summited Everest in 2004, is headed back to climb the last unclimbed ridge on the mountain. "Fantasy Ridge", as it was named by George Mallory in the 1920's, has never been successfully climbed. In May of this year Dave is hoping to change that. In putting together this promotional film, it was an honor to work with some of the rarest video footage ever taken from the top of the world.
Much of the inspiration for creating our latest feature film "Lusaka Sunrise," originated from this initial trip to a small Haitian village in the Dominican Republic called Batey Libertad. With Grassroot soccer staff member Jeff Decelles leading the way, we traveled with a University of Vermont class for a period of two weeks to implement some HIV/AIDS prevention curriculum. This film captures some of the progressive tactics that grassroot soccer uses to spread AIDS awareness to at-risk youth throughout the world.
